The festive liturgy was led by the Archbishop of Tiraspol and Dubossary Savva.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The history of the monastery began in the summer of 2003 with the creation of a male monastic community. Some believers wanted more seclusion from worldly life. At the end of the year, on December 31, the Holy Synod of the Russian Orthodox Church blessed the opening of a male monastery in the name of the Prophet, the Precursor &nbsp;and the Baptist of the Lord Ioannes &nbsp;in the Kalagur landscape unit &nbsp;of the Rybnitsa region.
