The history of chess goes back to at least one and a half thousand years ago. The first known game – grandparent of chess- chaturanga- appeared in India no later than the VI century BC. The famous Soviet grandmaster A.S. Lutikov worked and lived in Pridnestrovie for a long time. He would have turned 90 this year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On December 28, the presentation \u201cChess\u201d took place at the Bendery Historical and Local History Museum .<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For the first time in Pridnestrovie  square stamps with perforation were issued.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The set is printed in both perforated and imperforated versions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The edition of the perforated  set  is 4800 pieces. (600 sheets each)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The edition of the imperforated  set  is 800 pcs. (100 sheets each)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The serial number of  these set according to the catalog of postage stamps of the PMR is No. 1277.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
