For the 80th anniversary of the liberation of Pridnestrovie the State Unitary Enterprise \u201c Stamp of Pridnestrovie\u201d prepared 9  stamps depicting monuments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

These 9 stamps were divided into 3 sets. Three stamps in each set.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Earlier this year sets of stamps dedicated to the \u201cUman-Botoshan Offensive Operation\u201d and \u201cOdessa Offensive Operation\u201d were released.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

August 20 in Bendery at the cinema named after  Gorky at 15.00 there was a presentation of the final set  of stamps dedicated to the \u201cIasi-Kishinev offensive operation\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The stamps depict:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Memorial complex ” Heroes Square “. More than 800 soldiers who died during the liberation of Bendery in 1944 are buried in his mass  grave.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The stela \u201cMonument to  Liberation Heroes\u201d built with public funds and opened in Bendery on August 22, 1984 in honor of the 40th anniversary of the liberation of the city.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The \u201cBlown Crossing\u201d memorial  located in the village of Karmanova  is dedicated to the feat of military builders and engineers who played a key role in the initial stage of the Iasi-Chisinau operation. By the way this is the only monument to the engineering and construction troops in Europe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The set is printed in both perforated and imperforated versions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The edition of the perforated  set  is 3600 pcs. (600 sheets each)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The edition of the imperforated  set  is 600 pcs.(100 sheets each)<\/p>\n\n\n\n
