The experience of the Old Believers, or \u201cOld Believers\u201d as they are also called \u00a0is truly unique- they were able to preserve their religious and cultural identity in the most difficult natural and political conditions and didn\u2019t lose their language and customs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Old Believers  as the heirs of pre-schism, pre-reform Russia  try to preserve all the dogmas, canonical status , ranks and Matins  of the Old Russian Church.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Among them  there are the two-fingered sign of the cross, immersion baptism, unison singing, canonical iconography  and special prayer clothing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Old  Believers use old printed liturgical books published before 1652. In the Old Believer Church  the perfect and only recognized form of the image of the cross is  eight-pointed cross .<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On December 28, the presentation of the commemorative postal block \u201cRussian Orthodox Old  Believers Church in Pridnestrovie \u201d took place at the Bendery Historical and Local History Museum .<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The set is printed in both perforated and imperforated versions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
