Year of Family Values

2024 in Pridnestrovie  has been declared the Year of Family Values.

On March 26, in the building of the Tiraspol Main Post Office  a presentation of the 26th standard issue set  with the “Year of Family Values” logo took place.

The set  of stamps was printed in mass edition. The total edition  of the three stamps is 790,000 pieces.

By the way, on March 27, the widespread celebration of the Feodorovskaya Icon of the Mother of God, the patroness of the Romanovs  Dynasty  is celebrated.  In 1613  Mikhail Romanov was blessed  with the miraculous Feodorovskaya icon from the Kostroma Cathedral upon his election to the  reign.

The presentation was attended by a mother of many children, Olga Bulat, with her youngest daughter Varvara, who happily put  the first day’s seal impression  on the prepared envelope. It is noteworthy that Olga Bulat, like the family of Nicholas II, has four daughters and a son.
