On May 20 last year, as part of the events prepared by the Bendery Historical and Local History Museum, a special cancellation “Night at the Museum” was held. At the entrance to the museum each visitor could personally put a special cancellation stamp on a pre-prepared envelope. This event was in great demand and the prepared 50 envelopes (out of a total edition of 75 pieces) were sold out within an hour. Further, visitors stamped their entrance tickets and even their own hands.
This year they decided to continue the tradition to put special cancellation “Night at the Museum”on the envelopes. On May 18 Bendery Historical and Local History Museum opened its doors to citizens and guests of the city in the evening – from 17:00 to 22:00.
Just like last year, at the entrance to the museum each visitor could personally put a stamp on a pre-prepared envelope. The design of the envelope and seal have not changed much, only the dates and stamp on the envelope have changed. Also, 90 envelopes (out of a total edition of 140 pieces) were allocated to the museum for special cancellation.
