Newspapers of Pridnestrovie

Republican newspapers “Pridnestrovie” and “Adevarul Nistrian” celebrated their 30th anniversary. A ceremonial meeting at which the best employees of printed publications were awarded was held at the Palace of the Republic.

The first editions of both newspapers were printed at the Printing House on the same day – September 1, 1994.

“Adevarul Nistrian” is the only printed publication in the Moldovan language that uses Cyrillic graphics  not only in Transnistria  but throughout the world. The authors of the materials use a bright, imaginative and laconic style of presentation typical to the Moldavian philology. On the pages of the newspaper you can learn a lot about the cultural characteristics of the Pridnestrovian people, folklore, traditions and life of the Moldovan ethnic group.

The newspaper “Pridnestrovie“ is the flagship of Pridnestrovian printed publications. Today the publication is part of the state institution “Pridnestrovskaya Gazeta” where  experienced journalists work and  create  materials about social, political and cultural events in Pridnestrovie . The newspaper records on its pages the latest history of the republic.

The stamp is printed in both perforated and non-perforated versions.

The edition  of the perforated stamp is 4800 pieces. (600 sheets)

The edition  of the imperforated stamp is 800 pcs. (100 sheets)

Stamp number according to the PMR postage stamp catalog  is No. 1315-7.
