








New postage stamps were presented at the Academician Zelinsky Museum in Tiraspol. They feature the theme “Gas Masks of World War I.” The designs for the stamps were created by Vladimir Chernetsov. This year marks 110 years since our fellow countryman Nikolai Zelinsky invented the first carbon gas mask. The postage cancellation of stamps were held in the childhood home of the future scientist Nikolai Zelinsky.
The set is printed in both perforated and imperforated versions.
The perforated set is limited to 4,200 copies (600 small sheets each).
The imperforated series is limited to 700 copies (100 small sheets each).
