Georgy Konstantinovich Zhukov – Soviet Commander and Statesman, Marshal of the Soviet Union (1943), four times Hero of the Soviet Union (1939, 1944, 1945, 1956), Knight of two Orders of Victory (1944, 1945), six Orders of Lenin (1936, 1939, 1945, 1956, 1966, 1971) and many other Soviet and foreign orders and medals.
In the post-war years he received the popular nickname “Marshal of Victory”
