The Military Institute of the Ministry of Defense of the PMR is a state military educational institution of higher professional education. The form of education is full-time. In addition, the Military Institute trains reserve officers from among male students studying at the full-time department of Pridnestrovian State University of T.G. Shevchenko under the age of 27 years. The educational process includes theoretical and practical training courses as well as a training camp at the Military Institute.
