On September 12, in Tiraspol, in the Palace of the Republic during the conference dedicated to the 300th anniversary of St. Paisius (Velichkovsky) a presentation and cancellation of a new stamp took place.
Saint Paisius (Velichkovsky) is a saint of Russian Orthodox Church. Translator of sacred works and “Philokalia”, an Orthodox monk of the 18th century, who revived the ancient spiritual tradition of hesychasm, the essence of which is spiritual growth through self-control, prayerful reflection, physical education and mental development.
The stamp is printed in both perforated and imperforated versions.
The edition of perforated stamp is 6000 pcs. (600 mini sheets)

At the end of the conference, the staff of the State Unitary Enterprise “Publishing Company “ Stamp of Pridnestrovie” for their work for the benefit of the Russian Orthodox Church was awarded the Bishops’ Certificate
