Pridnestrovie on the eve of the First World War

The First World War lasted more than 4 years. 38 countries from Europe, Asia, Africa and the Middle East participated in  the war.

As a result of the military actions  about 18.5 million people died or were  missing.

November 11, 2023 marks 105 years since the end of the First World War.

On November 11, a presentation of a new set of  stamps “Pridnestrovie on the eve of the First World War” took place at the Bendery Historical and Local History Museum . The stamps depict the uniforms of military units stationed on the territory of modern Pridnestrovie in 1913.

The set is printed in both perforated and imperforated versions.

The edition of the perforated  set  is 4800 pieces. (600 sheets each)

The edition of the imperforated  set  is 800 pcs. (100 sheets each)
