On September 1, after the completion of the religious procession with the blessing of Archbishop Savva of Tiraspol and Dubossary a postage cancellation of commemorative envelope dedicated to the 25th anniversary of the start of construction of the Cathedral of the Nativity of Christ took place.
The 1999 stamp from the “Happy New Year 2000 ” series was used for postage cancellation on the envelope.
