On June 5, the 5th Dragon-Class Rowing Regatta “The President’s Family for a Healthy Lifestyle ” started on Tiraspol’s city beach. This year the traditional competition brought together 45 teams. The official start of the regatta was given by PMR President Vadim Krasnoselsky who reviewed the parade of participants. The head of state wished the athletes an easy start and a good finish while the President’s wife Svetlana Krasnoselskaya wished them “easy sailing.” One of the symbolic moments of the opening was the cancellation of a commemorative envelope issued as part of the 5th Dragon-Class Rowing Regatta. The envelope was canceled by the President and his wife.
The edition of a commemorative issue is 170 copies.
The stamp of 2025 depicts a tense moment of the crews’ battle on the water.
