On September 27 a cancellation of a new set of stamps took place in the exhibition hall of the Catherine Park in Tiraspol. It is dedicated to World Tourism Day. The holiday has been celebrated since 1979 by decision of the General Assembly of the World Tourism Organization.
The first postmarks on the FDC were made by Deputy Minister of Economic Development Natalya Sitkina and Director of the PMR Tourism Agency Anna Mikolishina.
The series is printed in both perforated and imperforated versions.
The edition of the perforated block and small sheet is 600 pcs.
The edition of the imperforated block and small sheet is 100 pcs.
