Coronavirus infection (COVID-19) is an infectious disease caused by the SARS-CoV-2 virus. Most people with COVID-19 have mild to moderate symptoms, and recovery occurs without specific treatment. However, some people are severely ill and need medical treatment.
The postage issue is represented by a series of 4 stamps, each of which reveals an important aspect of the fight against coronavirus infection in the PMR. The first vaccination in Transnistria from COVID-19 – the stamp shows the process of vaccination of the head physician of the Republican Clinical Hospital Igor Tostanovskiy. The next stamp – a photo of delivery of humanitarian assistance from Russia, a batch of Sputnik V vaccine. Other stamps depict an ambulance doctor and the work of a crisis center whose specialists coordinated and consulted the residents of our state.
